Michele Carey, also known as Michele Lee Henson, is the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a physician, and Thelma Burell Henson. She was born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America in the 26th of February 1942. As a teenager she became an expert pianist and took home a national competition at the Chicago Music Festival when she was only 13 years old. In Fort Collins, Colorado she lived with her parents.
